so how does one start? lets find out!

Intro

~~so these chains. you mail them to other ppl~~

~~you use this mustard and just spread it around~~

you use pliers i use a diff brand to open and close lil rings

(i shall show pics of them whenevah i get back ffrom vaccation)

steppy steps

(also, there's a boring guide somewhere around here if you dislike these steppies :/)

find pliers
get da rings
open a ring

place tha playas🏖️🏖️ on each side of the lil seam on the ring
hold onta one of the playas firmly

(i usually do it with the left)
with tha other player, move it perpendicularly to the seam (awway from ur body)

close a ring

put the previous ring to the side, it needs a break
do tha same thing, but instead of moving the seam away, move it so that both sides of the ring are next to each other

put the open ring inside the closed ring

they're makin friends!!

close that open ring
you have a ring inside a ring! yay!
just gotta do that hundreds of more times, and decide what rings u wanna put inside other rings

~weaves~

weaves=ways to put the rings together

the aspect ratio (the ratio between the diameter and the thiccness of the ring) is useful to know, and kinda determines what weaves u can make

it determines how many rings can fit inside a ring
weaves can usually be made with a range of ARs, with lower ARs makin it tighter, n higher ARs... (well, ur smart)

the basic ass-weave is European 4-in-1

each ring has 4 rings inside it
linkz (get it? like chain links xp)
mah belt is euro 4-in-1

Persian 6-in-1

can make a cool bracelet or necklace
can sometimes be a bit annoying and precise

first, gotta buy those scales (or make them if u have a fancy metal cutter)

TheRingLord (dun dun dun) is again our supplier (or at leasty mah dealer)

but yea, so you connect tha scales together, with rings

use 5/16" 16SWG rings to connect large scales, 3/16" 18SWG rings to connect small scales

uhh just kinda connect them in a diagonal pattern? gonna have images later for that

also liek, at the edges its a bit odds, this person found a way to make it stable
